CDF CONTINUES TO MAKE IMPACTFUL RESULTS

Moomba Constituency of Monze has released over K4.7Million from 2023 CDF allocation for Health, Education, Water and Sanitation Infrastructure Development, among others.
Monze Town Council Public Relations Officer Kanchele KANCHELE has announced the latest Tenders awarded by the Council for various CONSTRUCTION and SUPPLY projects in the area.
In a press statement released today, KANCHELE shared the consolidated details of the tenders awarded and the respective companies who have won them.
The largest Tender, valued at K618,134.10, was awarded to CIMU Handcraft Ltd for the completion of a 1 X 3 classroom block at Mwaanza Primary School.
Namoza General Contractors and Suppliers secured two tenders, one for the completion of a staff house at Namateba Primary School valued at K244,549.00 and the other for the renovation of a 1 X 3 classroom block at the same school valued at K320,000.00.
Jolyd General Suppliers Limited won the tender for the renovation of a staff house at Mujika Primary School with a value of K273,875.00.
The all female outfit, Lushan Powers Investments Limited secured the tender for the renovation of dormitory lockers at Kaumba Secondary School at a value of K248,167.75.
Other tenders awarded include the construction of a staff house at Bbwantu Clinic-Phase 1 to Siza Enterprises Limited (valued at K350,000.00), the construction of a staff house at Kaumuzya Primary School-Phase 1 to Nachoka Enterprises (valued at K349,648.00), and the construction of a staff house at Mujika Clinic-Phase 1 to Chrizet Enterprises (valued at K350,000.00).
In addition to construction tenders, there are also tenders for the siting, drilling, and mechanizing of boreholes. Great Ambition Construction Limited won the tender for Mwanza Secondary School at a value of K250,000.00, while Hottech Enterprise Limited secured the tender for Ntambo Secondary School at a value of K248,306.00.
LASTLY, there are tenders for the supplying and delivery of school desks.
Jovit General Dealers won the tender for 100No. X 3 seater school desks for Kalundu Zone valued at K149,000.00. Martech Construction and General Dealers Limited and Vinbin Electrical And General Dealers both won separate tenders for supplying and delivering 231No. X 3 seater school desks for Namateba Zone, both valued at K324,220.00.
Mutakamwa Productions Limited and Busongo Youths Enterprise Limited secured tenders for supplying and delivering 439 X 3 seater School desks for ‘Mwanza Zone’, both valued at K527,800.00. Cruz Impact Limited and Tree Shade General Dealers Limited won separate tenders for supplying and delivering 377 X 3 seater School desks for ‘Ntambo Zone’, both valued at K527,800.00.
The awarded tenders aim to improve infrastructure and resources in schools and clinics in Moomba Constituency and Monze District in general, ensuring better learning and working environments for students and healthcare providers. The winning companies are now expected to commence work on the projects in the coming weeks as project sites have been handed over.
Mr KANCHELE urged the awarded companies to execute their tasks diligently and within the stipulated timelines of 90 days for all projects to be completed and handed over the Local Authority. He also encouraged other companies to participate in future tenders as the council continues to prioritize local contractors in the development of the town’s education and healthcare infrastructure.
