President Hichilema has highly thanked the Traditional leader – Chief MPEZENI for the handsome and heartwarming welcome to his palace to celebrate Nc’wala ceremony at Mutenguleni.
The Pointers that the Republican President – Mr Hakainde HICHILEMA highlighted are;
– that the Traditional leadership are urged to work together with the government to find easy squeez solutions to challenges that are faced in the Nation ranging from the anticipated hunger that may ultimately spring from the evidenced dry spell along with disease out breaks.
– In avoidance to extinction of our native norms, the President also indicated the value of SAFEGUARDING the HERITAGE of this country by preserving CULTURE and TRADITION.
– The President reaffirmed that government is very committed to institutionalize Chiefdoms through the provision of much needed morden infrastructure.
However, on the other side, the Traditional leader – Chief MPEZENI of the Ngoni said that he was in wonderment to see how some opposition Political Parties could politicize EVERYTHING including the dry spell that has hit the whole Southern Africa.
He added that there’s literally NO one among us the mortal that has Power over rain but solely God.
He (Chief MPEZENI) encouraged President HICHILEMA NOT to take a barren share waste of time to listen to the Opposition but just deliver on the aspirations of the Zambian people.
The Chief applauded and congratulated the President and the New Dawn government for SUCCESSFULLY implementing the Free Education Policy, for prioritizing decentralization Policy too and that it has changed the lives of a lot of people in the Country.
“We the Traditional leadership CANNOT avoid noticing your (HICHILEMA) commitment to the Economic restructuring path. You’re a great man Sir”, Chief MPEZENI emphasized.
