THERE’S AN EMINENT QUEST TO JOIN HANDS WITH THE GOVERNMENT IN THE FIGHT AGAINST HUNGER – SIMOLOKA.

His Worship, Choma Mayor – Javen SIMOLOKA has called on Stakeholders in the District to join hands with the government in the fight against the devastating hunger situation arising from the current evidenced drought.
SIMOLOKA who was among Stakeholders at the Building Trust Project Meeting, organized by Zambia Red cross Society TODAY, said government requires more partners and support in Humanitarian aid.
The Mayor realized the quest to request Zambia Red cross Society along with Stakeholders to help government in fighting hunger through an extended helping hand to Communities.
The Civic leader said that this year is extremely critical and worse than what the District experienced in 2019 in terms of drought and crop failure.
In the same vein, Choma District Commissioner – Gamela L. SIKALEYA echoed the same sentiments of request.
The DC further urged various Stakeholders in the District to join hands with government in humanitarian activities.
