SOCIAL MEDIA ABUSE BY PUPILS HAS BECOME WORRISOME – SIMOLOKA

Abuse of Social Media Platforms by Pupils is on the rise says Choma Mayor – Javen SIMOLOKA.

Speaking in Choma District on Saturday at a SUGO Conference, SIMOLOKA said Mobile Phones should be used in a more productive manner for research of School work instead.
He (SIMOLOKA) warned that pupils should NOT be careless with what they post online as digital footprints may haunt them in the nearest future.

The Mayor advised pupils to engage in the highest level of discipline and similarly avoid the social evils such as abuse of alcohol.
He said Young people should use their youthful stages productively as they are the future leaders.

And Choma District Guidance Coordinator under the Ministry Education Elias NALUMPA advised the pupils to focus much on education and studies.

He (NALUMPA) also demonized the abuse of social media platforms and smart phones.
He advised pupils to use smart phones for research work.
